To her 16 million Instagram fans, Kate Hudson is sending a happy new year’s greeting.
The 43-year-old actress from Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery posted a video to social media showing her going outside and chilling a bottle of champagne in the snow for a short period before pouring it into a glass.
Happy New Year and many, many, many blessings to all of you, Hudson says in the video while toasting the camera and sipping from her glass while sporting a black sweater and a high ponytail.
Midway through the video, which is set to a piano version of “Auld Lang Syne” by Mark David Lee, she says, “I don’t know why I’m whispering, but I love it.”
Many blessings for the new year! #happynewyear #2023, Hudson wrote in her caption, reiterating the theme.
Because her mother Goldie Hawn, 77, and Hawn’s partner Kurt Russell, 71, own a home there, Hudson is spending the holidays there with her family, as has become a yearly ritual.
The “Almost Famous” actress was seen leaving the St. Regis Aspen with her fiance Danny Fujikawa. She also posted some images and videos to Instagram last week of her kids and her brother Oliver Hudson, 46, opening Christmas presents.
